Wash your hair and take a bath

Care for baby hair bathing time

Babies have thin scalps and can’t cope with chemicals. That’s why it’s especially important to use a gentle, dermatologically tested shampoo specially designed for babies. From birth, special care should be given to the baby’s hair. Because sebum secretion cannot be regulated normally, babies’ hair is easily dirty. Wash your baby’s head daily to prevent mud.

Take an appropriate amount of Biolane Gentle Shampoo and gently massage into baby’s wet hair. Rinse starting from the forehead and onto the top of the head. Your baby’s hair becomes soft, elastic and easy to comb. For more effective removal of head mud, gently massage over the scalp using Biolane Sweet Almond Oil. Wash your baby’s hair in the morning with Biolane Gentle Shampoo. After the baby is 1 year old, the frequency of shampooing can be appropriately reduced (about 3 times a week).

Is it time to cut your baby's hair?

Your baby is 18 months old and has long hair? It’s time to cut him a nice little fur!

Here are a few tips to get your first time as a professional hairdresser:

Use baby-specific hair clippers (the head of the hair clipper is round) and do not get your baby’s hair wet.

Gently wet the baby’s hair, pinching into strands every two centimetres.

Then pinch the end of each strand of hair with two fingers and cut off the growing parts. Start around the ears, back of the neck, then around the head, and finally at the top of the head.

You can use Biolane Body and hair cleanser to cleanse your baby’s scalp every day, moisturize the scalp and prevent the formation of mud.
