How to know if baby has dry skin or atopic-prone skin?

Dry skin appears following an external aggression such as a bath, a walk in the cold, the wind or in the sun for example. The skin will react to this environment which at some point attacks your baby’s sensitive skin. The use of a suitable moisturizer should be enough to relieve this skin dryness and make it disappear.

Atopic-prone skin, also called atopic dermatitis or atopy, is a chronic skin manifestation due to a particular and hereditary sensitivity (atopic terrain) to developing allergic reactions. Atopic-prone skin is characterized by an alteration of the barrier function of the skin. It is estimated that one in five children is currently affected by atopic-prone skin problems.
